Find Calm Amidst the Election – Join Us for Evening Meditations at Sangha House

Feeling the stress of the election season? Sangha House is here to help you find peace and grounding.

This week, we’re offering free meditation sessions every night at 7 PM to provide a calm and supportive space for those feeling overwhelmed by polling and election-related stress. Whether you’re new to meditation or looking for a place to deepen your practice, these sessions are designed to help you reconnect, relieve anxiety, and face the week with a clear, centered mind.

What to Expect:

  • Meditation Instruction: Each session will start with a short explanation of  meditation practice to help everyone settle in.
  • Mindfulness Practices: We’ll explore mindfulness techniques for managing stress and staying present amidst uncertainty.
  • Community Support: You’ll be meditating with others who may also be feeling election-related stress, creating a space of mutual support and understanding.

Details:

  • When: Every night this week at 7 PM (please arrive a few minutes early)
  • Where: Sangha House, 1430 W. Jarvis Ave. Chicago, IL 60626
  • Cost: Free (donations to support Sangha House programs are always welcome)

Why Join? Election season can stir up many emotions, but meditation can be a powerful way to find calm and clarity. We invite you to come as you are, let go of worries, and find peace within.

We look forward to supporting you through this week. Remember, there’s power in pausing.
